setting moon glows over frosted winter prairie ravens chuckle
The moon drew my attention first this morning. But as I walked, the winter prairie absorbed me, a tapestry of silver, gray and straw-gold grasses shot through with dried wildflower stems in rust and ivory and dusty brown. I find this spare beauty soothing and comforting. Life rests, waiting for longer days and spring.
Today, my gratitudes are simple ones:
For warm layers to insulate me when the wind chill is six degrees F before dawn as it was this morning.
For being able to watch the full moon set as I walk with the winter prairie.
For the cable that now connects me to the internet for the first time in the six weeks since I moved.
For being alive and not hungry, homeless or scarred by the trauma of war.
I am moved by these gratitudes to mindfully spread the Ocean of Light and Love as I go through my day, adding my mite of loving energy to nudging the world toward peace and a fair shake for all—all humans and all others with whom we share this green and blue planet.

Grateful for the crunch of snow under my boots..some drought years we haven't had much snow. Seeing the moon rise and set through skies unmarred by pollution or war smoke.
Taking the time to stop, listen, and learn what the ravens are saying
I am grateful for Being Here Now where ever I am at. Looking, hearing, feeling, while letting my thoughts come & go.
There is so much to be aware of.
